A bit about me.
I'm curious to the point of being a nuisance. I want to understand how a thing actually works before I design anything around it — which is why I end up on the complicated products.
I work directly with founders and product owners. On my last three projects there was no design lead above me: I proposed the structure, argued for it, and wrote the specs engineers built from.
I'm based in Bengaluru, India, and I work 9–5 US Eastern. I'd rather say that in the first line than have it come up on the third call. No visa sponsorship needed — I work with US teams as a contractor or through an EOR.
Away from work I walk, travel where there's nature rather than cities, and I'm happy sitting somewhere quiet doing nothing much.
